PERFORMER & HISTORIAN:
A vocalist who can croon a soulful ballad or yodel with the best of
them, Liz is an interpreter of songs, and a teller of tales. Always
searching out obscure material from the early 1900’s, through the Golden
Age of Radio, embracing popular music from western, swing and blues
genres, Liz breathes new life into the classics, as well as leads her
audience down a new trail of music. Whether accompanying herself on
the guitar, combining talents with a musical partner, or leading a multi-piece
swing band, Liz is always at home with the music.
RECORDING ARTIST:
Since 1988, Liz has recorded 6 albums of Traditional and Vintage Western
and Swing Songs. Shes combined her talents with Sean Blackburn,
renowned singer and guitarist, the Queen City Jazz Band as well as Tim
OBrien on fiddle and mandolin. Most recently, she was asked to
be a guest vocalist on Sid Hausman's CD,
Colorado Belle.
